Valley Blossoms / Royal Iris Paper Piecing Class

10-Session In-Store Series • Monthly on the 3rd Saturday • February–December (No Class in September)

Join us for a year-long Quiltworx journey as we dive into the stunning Valley Blossoms and Royal Iris paper-pieced quilts! This in-store class meets once a month from February through December (skipping September), giving you the perfect pace to learn, sew, and enjoy every step of your project.

We’ll kick things off in February with cutting and kit organization, setting you up for success before we move into the more detailed sections. These projects also include appliqué, and throughout the series we will teach Judy’s non-raw-edge appliqué method so you can create beautifully finished motifs with confidence.

Machine embroidery options for the appliqué are available for purchase from Confetti Designs, and Quiltworx offers a helpful YouTube tutorial for those choosing the embroidery path. Please note: machine embroidery will not be taught in class, but students are welcome to explore that option at home.
